Alison Bolton

Alison's passions for painting and the natural world have run side by side since childhood and stem from time watching and listening in the secret places of the New Forest, Solent coast and the reedbeds near her home. The ever changing moods of season and light on these landscapes are the basis for paintings which, though abstract, convey the echo of the landscape seen within a structure which enhances the reality.

Alison studied fine art at Salisbury and Hornsey, and has exhibited paintings at the Royal West of England Academy, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and at other shows and galleries in London and the South East.
