"My work celebrates the worlds of nature and music from my own, very subjective, point of view and can be unashamedly and unfashionably emotional. I strive to recreate a total experience emotional, sensual and intellectual so that I can, as it were, take it home and make it mine."
Formerly a City lawyer, Elizabeth has been painting professionally for the last fifteen years, and she now works in a light-filled studio in south east London. Her paintings are highly personal, reflecting her direct response to the subject matter: organic and alive, her work captures rythm and movement with atmospheric colour and exploratory use of materials.
Elizabeth has exhibited her work since 1993, particularly with Collyer-Bristow Gallery and Art First.
I look forward to showing Elizabeth's work for the first time at the Affordable Art Fair in Hampstead at the end of October.
