Jasia's work concentrates on experimental printmaking and drawing, using a variety of techniques including collagraphy, intaglio, carborundum, lithography, monoprints, screen print and drypoint.
The current series is part of a continuing project researching into the structure of plants. They are developed from drawings of leaves, seeds, fruits, plant stems and microscopic images of plant cells.
Jasia studied at Manchester Polytechnic and Goldsmith College. Her work has been exhibited worldwide regularly since 1998, and in London, including the RA Summer Exhibition, the Watercolour and Drawings Fair and the Geffrye Museum.
Her work is in public and private collections including Manchester City Art Gallery, British Council Japan, Courtaulds plc and the Bank of England. Jasia is a member of the East London Printmakers.
