Shirley Crowther contemporary art sources and promotes a distinctive group of artists whose work - predominantly abstract - represents a creative journey, exciting in both concept and detail. Their inspiration and content may vary, but certain elements link their work: an interest in textural qualities, sensitive use of colour, exploration of their medium and an artistic integrity.
Click on the showcase to find details of the artists and their work, see us at exhibitions and art fairs, view a catalogue of work currently being shown, or visit The Jointure Studios in Ditchling (near Brighton, Sussex) by appointment. Being on our mailing list will ensure you are kept informed of new works and exhibitions.
A monthly exhibition of artworks at Chestertons deli-café in the centre of Ditchling will show a wider selection of artwork: paintings, prints, photography, calligraphy and applied arts, by artists and makers from Sussex and beyond.
Our aim is to help you choose art which brings enduring pleasure and enhances your living or working space. Whether you are a private buyer, a business or designer, we are delighted to assist you in selecting and displaying artworks and can draw on a wide portfolio of artistic talent to suit your taste and transform your location. Please contact us to discuss your project.
